Francisco Soto Ramirez

BROWNSVILLE, TX. - Francisco Soto Ramirez entered into eternal rest on Monday, the 30th of December 2019 in Brownsville, Texas surrounded by his loving family. He was eighty years of age.

Francisco was a talented shoemaker and owned Fast Shoe Service for numerous years until his retirement in Brownsville, Texas. In his spare time, he enjoyed playing pool and dominos, as well as reading. He will always be remembered as a hardworking individual who provided for his family.

His mother, Guadalupe S. Ramirez; sister, Isabel Gonzalez; brothers, Roberto Soto Ramirez and Pedro Avila Soto; and granddaughter, Sasha Soto, preceded him in death.

Francisco is survived by his children Virginia S. Forrester, Elvira Soto Perez, Gabriela S. Rodriguez (Marcos A.), Eduardo Soto (Juany), and Francisco Soto, Jr.; fifteen grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren,;and by his sisters Esperanza Soto, Consuelo Camarillo, and Antonia Soto.

Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, the 2nd of January 2020 between the hours of three o’clock in the afternoon and nine o'clock at night. A Chapel Service will commence at seven o’clock Thursday evening within the East Chapel of Darling-Mouser Funeral Home.

All funeral services will conclude Thursday night, and in accordance with the final wishes of Mr. Soto Ramirez, cremation is to follow.
