BROWNSVILLE, TX. - Gerardo Gonzalez entered into eternal rest on Monday, the 14th of February 2022 in Oklahoma. He was twenty-two years of age.
Gerardo was born on the 17th of February 1999 in Brownsville, Texas, son of Arturo Gonzalez, Sr. and Patricia Carbajal. He loved bears, band, and gaming on his PlayStation 4. He was a hard worker and later relocated to Guymon, Oklahoma for work. Gerardo always had a smile on his face and had a contagious laugh – if he was laughing you would want to laugh with him too. He had such a big heart and he would do anything for his family whom he loved very much.
Preceding Gerardo in death was his father, Arturo Gonzalez, Sr.
Survivors include his loving mother, Patricia Carbajal; his wife, Lucy Rosales; daughter, Adalynn; brothers, Arturo Gonzalez, Jr. (Katie) and Jose Antonio Gonzalez; in addition to numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members and many friends.
Visiting hours will be held on Saturday, the 19th of February 2022 and Sunday, the 20th of February 2022 between the hours of twelve noon and nine o’clock at night within the East Chapel of Darling-Mouser Funeral Home, with a service to commence Sunday evening. Cremation will follow.
