Gloria G. Cascos

Gloria G. Cascos, 88, our beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend entered into the glory of her eternal life on Saturday, June 7, 2014, at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Brownsville, Texas surrounded by her loving family.

Gloria was preceded in death by her husband, Hector Cascos her parents, Simona and Jacobo Garcia and two sisters, Olga Anaya and Esperanza Garate.

Left behind to eternally treasure their memories of Gloria are her children: Carlos H. Candi Cascos, Hector A. Cascos Jr., Jaime A. Cascos, and Gloria Gilberto Rico the seven grandchildren that were her pride and joy: Casandra Daniel Ortiz, Andrea Cascos, Alessandra Rico, Hafid Martinez, Gilberto Beto Rico, Havannah Cascos, Andres Rico, and Alexa Cascos a sister, Juanita Castillo two brothers, Jacobo Aurora Garcia and Modesto Garcia and numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family members.

Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. today Tuesday, June 10th and continue through 9:00 p.m. with the recitation of the holy rosary scheduled for 7:00 p.m. this evening in the East Chapel at DarlingMouser Funeral Home. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 11, 2014 at St. Marys Catholic Church, 1914 Barnard Road in Brownsville. Entombment services will follow in the Mausoleum at Buena Vista Burial Park.

Gilberto Rico, Gilberto Beto Rico, Andres Rico, Hafid Martinez, Roberto and Eugenio Gene Garate are honored to be serving as Glorias pallbearers.
