Gregorio Garza-Solis

Gregorio Garza Solis, 78, of Brownsville, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, August 27, 2009 at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Brownsville.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Raquel Serrata Garza, his parents, Guadalupe and Maria S. Garza, and by a son, Jose Alfredo Garza. He is survived by his children, Miguel Angel Bertha Garza, Saul FedericoSarah Garza, Aurora Juan Montiel Garza, Gregorio Garza, Jr., Cristina Garza, Norma Luis Alberto Ponce, Ruben Dora Alicia Garza, Roberto Liliana Garza, Rolando Garza, Jorge EduardoBelia Garza and Raquel Araceli Garza, 17 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren, daughter-in-law, Patricia Garza, his sisters, Francisca Casas, Guadalupe Olvera, Martha Garza and Magdalena Ortiz and numerous other relatives.

Visitation will be held from 5 to 9p.m., with the recitation of the holy rosary to be held at 7p.m., Friday, August 28, 2009 in the East Chapel of Darling-Mouser. Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 29, in the East Chapel of Darling-Mouser with burial to follow to Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers will be Miguel Angel, Saul Federico, Roberto, Rolando, Jorge Eduardo Garza and Luis Alberto Ponce.
