Doa Guadalupe Juarez Suarez, 93, our beloved mother, grandmother, greatgrandmother, greatgreatgrandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, entered into the glory of her eternal life on Friday, November 16, 2012, at Valley Regional Medical Center surrounded by her loving family.
Lupita, as she was affectionately known to all, was born in Edna, Texas, but she had been a lifetime resident of the San Pedro community. Doa Lupita worked for many years as a migrant worker traveling to Oregon, Nebraska, and other states to work. When she was no longer able to continue working, Doa Lupita began to sell raspas on Sundays from her home. In the San Pedro area she was known as La Seora de las Raspas. Doa Lupita was a faithful parishioner of San Pedro Catholic Church. Doa Lupita was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed by all those fortunate to have known her.
Doa Lupita was preceded in death by her husband, Andres Suarez a daughter, Minerva Minnie Suarez Valles her parents, Donaciana and Eduvijes Suarez four sisters, and three brothers.
Left behind to eternally treasure their memories of her are her children: Ladislado Suarez, Juliana Primitivo Garcia, Aurora Arnulfo Guajardo, Ernesto Maria Suarez, and Guadalupe Antonia Suarez twentytwo grandchildren, fortyeight greatgrandchildren, and thirtythree greatgreatgrandchildren. Doa Lupita will also be missed by her sisters, Refugia Facundo Saldaa, Carmen Juan Guerra, Beatriz Doroteo Cazares, and Paula Andres Guajardo her brother, Julian Maria Suarez and numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family members.
Visitation will begin at 3:00 p.m. today, Sunday, November 18th in the East Chapel at DarlingMouser Funeral Home and continue through 9:00 p.m. this evening with the recitation of the holy rosary scheduled to begin at 7:00 p.m. this evening in the East Chapel. The Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. tomorrow, Monday, November 19th, 2012, at San Pedro Catholic Church, 7602 Old Military Road, San Pedro, TX. Committal services will follow at Don Sabas Cavazos Cemetery in San Pedro, Texas.
