Harriet Rose Butcher

BROWNSVILLE, TX. – Miss Harriet Rose Butcher, 79, of Brownsville, Texas entered into eternal rest at Ebony Lake Nursing and Rehabilitation Center on Friday, September 11, 2020.

Miss Butcher worked for Mr. George Samano at Walgreens Downtown for 20 years, at Brownsville Funeral Home for 4 years, at Buitron’s Flowers Shop for 20 years and as a Paraprofessional with the Brownsville Independent School District for 16 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jim F. and Rachel Butcher; and a sister, Mary Josephine Butcher.

Left to eternally treasure their memories of her are her siblings: Rachel B. Feaster of Charlestown, West Virginia, Shirley Butcher of Corpus Christi, Texas, Gladys B. Fernandez of Corpus Christi, Texas, and James C. Butcher of Corpus Christi, Texas; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

As per her wishes, Miss Butcher will be cremated.
