Harry Hausman, 82, our beloved husband, father, grandfather, brotherinlaw, uncle and friend entered into eternal rest on Friday, October 25, 2013, at Alta Vista Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Brownsville.
Harry was born in Suffield, Ohio and lived the majority of his life in Akron, Ohio. Harry travelled the world during the course of his business and made friends everywhere. Harry never said no to anyones request for support and was instrumental in helping people achieve their goals. There was nothing Harry enjoyed more than a trip to Las Vegas during the Super Bowl, a summer day at Cleveland Municipal Stadium watching the Indians play, or a night out with his friends at his favorite restaurantthe Diamond Grille. Harry was a good, generous dependable man who lived by his own lightslights that brightened the lives of his friends and family.
Harry was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed not only by his family and friends but by all those fortunate to have known him.
Harry was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and one sister.
Left behind to eternally treasure their memories of his is his wife of 44 years, Nidia Hausman his son, Chris Hausman and his wife Melva Montemayor the two grandsons that were his pride and joy, Christopher and Zachary two brothersinlaw one sisterinlaw, and numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family members.
In accordance with Harrys wishes he has been cremated. A Memorial Mass celebrating Harrys life will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 29, 2013, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 602 E. Elizabeth Street, Brownsville.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts in Harrys name may be made to the Cameron County Child Welfare Board, 1060 McIntosh Road, Brownsville, TX 78521, Attn: Lynette Benavidez.
