Heberto Teran Flores, 89, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, June 28, 2015, at Valley Regional Medical Center in Brownsville, Texas surrounded by his loving family.
Heberto is preceded in death by two daughters, Nilda Teran and Graciela Peña.
Heberto is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Yolanda Teran; his children: Yolanda Teran Begum, Dr. Jose Heberto Teran, Laura (Michael) Hogan, Armando (Carmen) Teran, and Carla Teran; ten grandchildren: Nilda Gabriela Soberon, Daniela Teran, Jose Heberto (Rosie) Teran Jr., Alex (Sabrina) Begum, Sasha (Shane) Begum-Norman, Mario Alberto Soberon, Alejandra Peña, Cristina Teran, Hector Eduardo Peña, and Gabriela Peña; and seven great-grandchildren. Heberto will also be missed by his siblings: Homero Teran, Modesto Teran, Concepcion Teran, Maria Luisa Teran Bres, and Ruben Teran and numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family members.
In accordance with Mr. Teran's wishes he has been cremated. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 2, 2015 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 1914 Barnard Road.
