Hector "Leiva" G. Zuniga

Hector G. Leiva Zuniga, 66, of Brownsville, beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle entered into the glory of his eternal life on Sunday, November 15, 2009 at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Brownsville surrounded by his loving family.

He was preceded in death by his son, Jaime Zuniga; a sister, Petra Zuniga; and a brother, Carlos Zuniga.

Left behind to eternally treasure his memory is his loving wife of 44 years, Rosa M. Zuniga; his daughter and son-in-law, Aime and Jose A. Fiscal and their children, Daniel A. Itzel M. Fiscal; two sisters: Juanita Solitaire and Yolanda Coronado, and two brothers: Javier and Mario Zuniga. He will also be missed by his numerous nieces and nephews especially Lulu, El Espaol, Lety, Paty, Juan, Joe, Briseida, Toito, and Laurita.

Visitation was held Monday, November 16, 2009 at Darling-Mouser Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Tuesday, November 17, 2009 at 12:30 p.m. in the West Chapel at Darling-Mouser Funeral Home. Internment will follow to Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens. Jose Alberto Fiscal, Juan Antonio Alvarez, Juan Jose Torres, Jose Jaime Villarreal, Horacio Zuniga, and Timoteo Gomez are honored to be serving as his pallbearers.
