Helen F. Thompson

Helen F. Thompson, 86, beloved mother, grandmother, and sister entered into the glory of her eternal life on Tuesday, July 12, 2011 at Valley Regional Medical Center in Brownsville surrounded by her loving family.

Helen was born in Proffit, TX on August 5, 1924. Helen first moved to Brownsville with her husband Jack Thompson in 1967, moving to Houston in 1971, before retiring in 1980 after 33 years of faithful service with Southwestern Bell. Helen then returned to Brownsville in 1994 where she lived the remainder of her life. Helen will be profoundly missed by all those who loved and knew her.

Helen was preceded in death by her parents her husband, Redden Jack Thompson a daughter, Patricia Jean Gibson and a grandson, Kenneth Randle Thompson.

Left to eternally treasure her memory is her son: Randy Carolyn Thompson a granddaughter, Kryssie Thompson 2 sisters, Jane Ham and Sue Price, and numerous nieces and nephews.

In accordance with Helens wishes, she will be transferred to Springtown, Texas where services will be under the direction of Whites Funeral Home, 4th and Main, Springtown, TX 76082 and 817 5964811. Graveside services will be held on Friday, July 15, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at Dido Cememtery in Tarrant County. A memorial service in Brownsville will be announced at a later date.
