Herlinda Garza Limon, 68, of Brownsville, Texas beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend entered into eternal rest at Valley Regional Medical Center on Monday, July 17, 2017, with her family at her side.
Linda, as she was affectionately known to all, was a native and lifetime resident of Brownsville. Linda was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed not only by her family and friends but by all those fortunate enough to have known her.
Linda is preceded in death by her husband, Ruben P. Limon; her parents, Petra and Felix Calderon and Abelardo Garza; and a brother, Agusto.
Left to cherish her memory are her two daughters: Rose (Armando) Pulido and Elizabeth M. (Eric) Castillo; the six grandchildren that were her pride and joy: Michael, Julianne, Abigail, Major, Emma, and Elijah; and her siblings: Jesus, Abelardo, Ruben, Felix, Adelina, Elvia, Alma, and Estela along with numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
Visitation will be from 3:00 to 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 19, 2017, at Darling-Mouser Funeral Home with a Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday evening. The Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 20, 2017, at Darling-Mouser. Committal services will follow at Buena Vista Burial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts in Linda's name may be made to Sunshine Haven Hospice Facility, 7105 W. Lakeside Blvd., Olmito, Texas 78575.
