Herman H. Crist, Jr.

Herman H. Crist, 79, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, April 8, 2008 at Valley Regional Medical Center.

Herman was a man who loved his family and savoured the simple things in life. To his family he was adventurous and intriguing with his many stories. His carefree and lighthearted nature made him easy to love and his use of commonsense in business made him respectable. He loved days at the beach and the racetrack as well as spending time with his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents Herman H. and Ethel Mae Crist. Left behind to eternally cherish his memories is his wife, Mary Crist, children, Bonnie David Tadlock, Linda Cameron Camp, Cherie Guillermo Gonzalez, Herman Rachel III, Douglas, and Christopher April Crist, 19 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, and a brother, William Crist.

Visitation will be held Thursday, April 10, 2008, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Darling-Mouser Funeral Home Chapel. A celebration of his life service will be held Friday, April 11, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. at Darling-Mouser Funeral Home Chapel. As per his wishes cremation will follow.

Military Honors will be conducted by The American Legion post 43 Honor Guard under the direction of Commander Leal.

We will miss you Racetrack Grandpa.
