Hilda I. Guerrero, 63, our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend entered into the glory of her eternal life on Tuesday, March 24, 2015 at Valley Regional Medical Center.
A native of General Teran, Nuevo Leon, Mexico, Hilda immigrated to the United States when she was 28 years old. After living in Brownsville for several years she and her husband moved to Michigan, where she had resided for the past 36 years. Hilda was spending the winter in Brownsville at the time of her passing.
Hilda was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers.
Left behind to eternally treasure their memories of her is her husband of 43 years, Eliseo Guerrero; the five sons that were her pride and joy: Eliseo Jr. and his wife Veronica, Ramiro and his wife Petra, Aron and his wife Morgan, Emmanuel and his wife Ashley, and Eleazar and his wife Whitney; 9 grandchildren; 2 sisters: Trinidad "Trine" Lira and her husband Rafael and Virginia Sanchez; a brother, Pedro Alaniz and his wife Irma Rangel; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family members.
Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. and continue through 8:00 p.m. with the recitation of the holy rosary at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, March 26, 2015. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, March 27, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. All services will conclude at that time and in according with her wishes cremation will follow.
