Isabel G. Cruz

Mrs. Isabel G. Cruz, 77, of Brownsville, entered into eternal rest at her residence on Saturday, February 11, 2017 surrounded by loving family.

Mrs. Cruz was a devoted loving wife, faithful church member, and loved to read her bible. She enjoyed spending time with her family and her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, San Juanita "Janie" Rendon; her mother Rebeca T. Garza; her father Teodoro Garza and a sister, Guadalupe Espino.

Left to eternally treasure their memories of her are her loving and devoted husband of 55 years, Manuel R. Cruz, Sr.; her children, Manuel Cruz, Jr. (Yolanda); Antonio Cruz (Maricela); Mary Lou Martinez and Irma Cruz Robles (John); 16 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren; her sisters, Margarita Pena, Beatrice Garcia and Francisca Rosas (Eduardo) and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 14, 2017 with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. in the East Chapel at Darling-Mouser Funeral Home

Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, February 15, 2017 in the East Chapel at Darling-Mouser Funeral Home with interment to follow at Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens.

Honored to be serving as her pallbearers are Gabriel Antonio Cruz, Erik Paul Cruz, Juan Ignacio Robles, Jr., Manuel Angel Martinez III, Rafael Rendon II, Brandan Alan Vitt, Jeremy Rendon and Michael Aaron Martinez Honorary Pallbearers are Mauricio Andres Martinez, Thomas Jacob Rendon, Marco Antonio Cruz and Julian Andrew Robles.
