Jack R. Peart

Jack R. Peart, 83, of Brownsville, entered into eternal rest on July 1, 2008 at Valley Regional Medical Center.

Jack was a member of Portway Baptist Church for many years and served in the U.S. Navy. He is survived by his wife, Doris J. Peart, his children, Scott Willy Peart, Michael D. Cheri Peart, Pamela Reames, Daniel Peart, Jack Peart, Jr., Sharon Ray Van Eck, and Jim Karen Fletcher, and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 5, 2008 at 10a.m., in the chapel of Darling-Mouser Funeral Home. Presentation of the U.S. Flag will be done prior to the service by the American Legion Post 43 Honor Guard under the command of Raul J. Leal, Jr.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Food Bank Ministry of Portway Baptist Church, 2000 N. Minnesota, Brownsville, Texas 78521.
