Jason Weldon Alley, 38, beloved son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, and friend entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, April 2, 2014, at his residence in Brownsville, Texas.
A native of Houston, Texas, Jason, had been a resident of Brownsville for the past fifteen years. Jason was stationed at the Veterans International Bridge at Los, Tomates as a federal agent with Customs and Border Protection. Jason was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed not only by his family and friends but by all those fortunate to have known him.
Jason was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Magdelena Alley.
Jason is survived by his father, Eddie Eugene Edna Alley his brother, Darrell Wendy Alley and their children, Malik, Hayden, and Rian his paternal grandmother, Viney M. Alley and numerous, aunts, uncles, cousins, and other extended family members.
A memorial service was held on Friday, April 4, 2014, at the Veterans International Bridge at Los Tomates.
Jason has been transferred to MillerJosey Mortuary LLC, 428 W. Meyor St., Belleville, Texas 77416 and 979 8650808 where funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 9, 2014, at St. Pauls Methodist Church, 916 Fannin Street, Columbus, TX 78934. Committal services will follow at Gay Hill Cemetery in Columbus ,Texas.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts in Jasons name may be made to the Jason Weldon Alley Memorial Scholarship Fund, co Eddie Eugene Alley, P.O. Box 134, Columbus, Texas 78934.
