John Richard Allen

John Richard Allen, 72, our beloved husband, father, and grandfather, entered into the glory of his eternal life on Tuesday, June 07, 2011 at his residence in Brownsville surrounded by his loving family after a brief but courageous battle with cancer.

John a native of Ft. Worth had called Brownsville home for the past 3 years. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who was always willing to give of himself without question or reservation. He will be profoundly missed by all those whose lives he touched.

He was preceded in death by his father, John Henry Morgan Allen, and his mother and stepfather, Charles and Aenard Lynn Ewing.

Left behind to eternally treasure their memories of him is his loving and devoted wife, Lynn Rose Pete Allen his children, Shawn Melonie Balderas and Cynthia Pascual Rodriguez nine precious grandchildren that were the apple of his eye: Madison Renee Balderas, Jacob John Rodriguez, Amber Rose Rodriguez, Logan Anthony Balderas, Briley Brooks Balderas, Christal Ana Rodriguez, Luke Roe Balderas, Miranda Leigh Rodriguez, and Jericho Mariano Rodriguez. He will also be deeply missed by his brothersinlaw and sistersinlaw: Guy Anna Pete Jr., Elaine Phil Windhaus, Doris Wayne Brown, Lucy Pete, Audie Lee Pete, and Clint Hope Pete along with numerous nieces and nephews.

In accordance with Johns wishes, he will be cremated and a memorial rosary service in his memory will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, June 9, 2011 at DarlingMouser Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, Johns family requests that memorial gifts in his name be made to the donors favorite hospice agency.
