Jose Camargo, Jr.

Jose Camargo, Jr, 69, of Brownsville entered into eternal rest at Valley Regional Medical Center on Friday, September 28, 2012 surrounded by his loving family. He worked at Valley Baptist Medical CenterBrownsville formerly Brownsville Medical Center for 32 years and then went on to work at the Heart Institute for another 5 years.

Mr. Camargo was born in Ciudad Anahuac, Nuevo Leon, Mexico to Jose Camargo, Sr. and Rita Briones Camargo. They both preceded him death. He was also preceded in death by a daughter Rosa Margarita Camargo and a sister, Rosa Maria Vela Camargo.

Left behind to eternally treasure their memories of him are his beloved wife of 22 years Presciliana H. Camargo his children, Rita Flores, Jose Camargo III, Everardo Camargo, Elsa Camargo, Vanessa Cantu and Claudia Cantu his siblings, Ricardo Zerelda Camargo, Rosie Camargo Vela, Rodolfo Betty Camargo, Raul Camargo Vela, Fide Camargo Vela, Roberto Nora Camargo, Rita David Lapeyre and Hector Ana Camargo Vela. Several grandchildren, greatgrandchildren, nieces and nephews also survive him.

Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday, September 30, 2012 with the recitation of the holy rosary at 7 p.m. in the East Chapel of DarlingMouser Funeral Home.

Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Monday October 1, 2012 at Mary Mother of the Church St. Marys, 1914 Barnard. Interment will follow at Guillen Cemetery in Brownsville.

Honored to be serving as Mr. Camargos pallbearers are Jose Camargo III, Ricardo Camargo, Rodolfo Camargo, Roberto Camargo, Raul Vela and Hector Vela.

Honorary pallbearer will be Everardo Camargo.
