Mr. Jose Luis Cisneros, 53, our beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend entered into the glory of his eternal life on Monday, May 20, 2013, at Valley Regional Medical Center in Brownsville surrounded by his loving family.
A native and lifetime resident of Brownsville, Cisco as he was affectionately known to all will be remembered as the Cowboy in a wheelchair. He had a cheerful personality despite his many ailments. Cisco was always talking about fishing which was his true passion. He had great fishing tales which grew from his years of working at Gordons Bait and Tackle when he was a young man.
Cisco later worked at Marathan LeTourneau and then was very proud of owning and operating Ciscos Bookkeeping Services for many years. Cisco was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed by his family and all those fortunate to have known him.
Jose Luis was preceded in death by his parents: Ofelia and Candelario Cisneros two brothers, Fidel and Candelario Cisneros Jr. a sister, Manuela Garcia and a brotherinlaw, Ricardo Ricky Alvear.
Left behind to eternally treasure their memories of him is his loving wife of fourteen years, Maria Angela Cisneros his children: E4 Spc. Marco Antonio Chanelle, Baltazar, and Marisol Hernandez, and Jose Luis Cisneros Jr. and three grandchildren: Marco Antonio Jr., Nathan Jonathan, and Abraham Misael Hernandez. Cisco will also be missed by his four sisters: Rosalinda Lopez, Ofelia C. Daniels, Maria Elena Salas, and Diana C. Alvear his four brothers: Reynaldo, Erasmo, Ruben, and John Joe Cisneros his secretary and right hand Rose Mary Ricardo Ayala and numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family members.
Visitation will be held on both Tuesday, May 21st and Wednesday, May 22nd from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. with the recitation of the holy rosary at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday evening in the East Chapel at DarlingMouser Funeral Home. The Funeral Service Celebrating Ciscos Life will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 23, 2013, in the East Chapel at DarlingMouser Funeral Home. All services will conclude at that time, and in accordance with Jose Luis wishes cremation will follow.
