Jose Guadalupe Sosa

Jose Guadalupe Sosa, 63, of Brownsville, entered into eternal life on January 5, 2009 at Valley Regional Medical Center.

Mr. Sosa was preceded in death by his parents, Raul and Josefa Sosa and by a sister, Generosa Sosa. He is survived by his wife, San Juana G. Sosa, his children, Armando Yadira Sosa, Sylvia Sosa, Sonia Victoria Sosa, Sally Sosa Marco Tapia, Susana Jesus Benavides, Selma Micaela Sosa, and Sulema Sosa Alejandro Hernandez, a brother, Raul Sosa, Jr., a sister, Viola Sosa, 15 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will begin today, Wednesday, January 7, 2009 at 9a.m., and continue until 9p.m., with the recitation of the holy rosary to be held at 7p.m., in the Chapel of Darling-Mouser. Mass of Resurrection will be held at 2p.m., Thursday, January 8, at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church with burial to follow to Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers will be Armando Sosa, Raul Sosa II, Raul Sosa III, Marco Tapia, Marco Tapia, Jr., Jesse Benavides, Guadalupe Benavides, Rigoberto Moreno, Jr. and Alejandro Hernandez.
