Josefina Parra

Josefina "Finita" Parra. 86, of Brownsville, entered into eternal rest at Valley Regional Medical Center on January 5, 2016.

Mrs. Parra was preceded in death by her parents, Jose and Marcelina Tabasco; her husband Damaso Parra; her first born son Damaso Parra, Jr.; a brother Norberto Tabasco and a sister, Eladia Gamboa (Tabasco).

Left to eternally treasure their memories of her are her children: Rosa Maria (Juan Manuel) Reyes, Javier (Alejandra) Parra, Gerardo (Eva) Parra and Hector (Armandina) Parra; her daughter-in-law, Juani G. Parra; 22 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; 1 brother, Jose Angel Tabasco and a sister, Elvia Tabasco.

Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday, January 8, 2016 with the recitation of the holy rosary at 7 p.m. in the East Chapel at Darling-Mouser Funeral Home.

Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, January 9, 2016 in the Immaculate Conception Cathedral, 1218 E. Jefferson St. with interment to follow at Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens
