Juan Andres Rios, Jr., 43, our beloved husband, father, brother, brother-in-law, uncle, nephew, cousin, and friend entered into the glory of his eternal life on Friday, September 11, 2015, at Valley Regional Medical Center in Brownsville surrounded by his loving family.
A native and lifetime resident of Brownsville, Juan worked for several local security agencies as a security officer. In his spare time, Juan loved to go fishing. Juan was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed not only by his family and friends but by all those fortunate to have known him.
Juan was preceded in death by his parents, Beatrice and Juan Andres Rios.
Left behind to eternally treasure his memories is his loving wife, Maria Elena "Mary" Osornio Rios; his children: Juan Andres Rios III, Darius (Frances) Osornio, Rigoberto "Rigo" (Sylvia) Osornio, Cassandra (Mike) Ochoa, and Jennifer Ochoa; a sister, Norma Rios; a brother, Emilio Rios; his niece and nephew, Amanda and John Michael Rios; along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and other extended family members.
Visitation and a rosary were held yesterday, Saturday, Sept. 12th in the East Chapel at Darling-Mouser. Visitation will resume at 10:00 a.m. today Sunday, Sept. 13th with a Chapel Service scheduled to start at 2:30 p.m. today in the East Chapel at Darling-Mouser. Committal services will follow at Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens.
Jose Rios, Jr., Oscar Rios, Ricardo Rios, Jr., Alvaro Sanchez, Darius Osornio, and Joel Menchaca are honored to be serving as Juan's pallbearers.
