BROWNSVILLE, TX. – Juan Antonio Garcia entered into eternal rest on Thursday, the 3rd of February 2023. He was sixty-eight years of age.
Juan was born in San Luis Potosi, Mexico on August 1, 1954, son of Celedonio and Herlinda Garcia. Some of his favorite pastimes included playing pool, dancing, lottery scratch-offs, fishing, and watching Mexican films. He also enjoyed his beers and cigarettes. Juan will be remembered for his lively and friendly personality and will be greatly missed by all of those fortunate enough to have known him.
Preceding Juan in death were his parents, Celedonio and Herlinda Garcia.
Survivors include his loving and devoted wife of forty-nine years, Aurora Garcia; his children, Juan Jose Garcia (Angelita) and Rosemary Garcia; his grandchildren Brittany Angel, Alyssa Angel, Dylan Garcia, and Sausha-Rae Brown; his great-grandchildren, Naveah Angel and Luke Anthony Lara; in addition to his numerous brothers, sisters, and extended family members.
A private cremation will be held. Visiting hours will be held on Friday, the 10th of February 2023, between the hours of three o’clock in the afternoon and nine o'clock at night, with the recitation of the holy rosary to begin at seven o'clock Friday evening within the East Chapel of Darling-Mouser Funeral Home. All services will conclude Friday night.
