Larry Grant Stolz

Larry Grant Stolz, 68, of Brownsville, entered into eternal rest at his residence on Thursday, October 1, 2009.He was born in Sanford, Michigan on November 8, 1940.

Mr. Stolz was a U.S. Navy Veteran and Merchant Seaman on the Great Lakes, having worked his way up from deckhand to captain. He retired in the Summer of 2007 from the Great Lakes Fleet as Captain of the ship Edgar B. Speer.

Mr. Stolz is survived by his brother, Leon Sherryl Stolz of Victoria, Texas and his sister, Violet Marie Eugene Croad of Michigan.

As per his wishes, Mr. Stolz was cremated. His family will have a private service at a later date.
