Lazaro Ortiz Calvillo

BROWNSVILLE, TX. - Lazaro Ortiz Calvillo entered into eternal rest on Thursday, the 23rd of January 2025. He was 72 years of age.

Survivors include his loving and devoted wife, Mary Olga Calvillo; his children Juan Lazaro Calvillo, Jesus Roberto Calvillo, and Rosa Elia Calvillo; his siblings Maria Teresa Aguilar (Matias), Martha Alvarez, Maria Guadalupe Rodela (Armando), Elvira C. Sosa (Jose), Rosalinda Soto, Isidoro Calvillo (Juaney), Juan Carlos Calvillo, Ismael Calvillo (Cristina), Juaney Soto (Monce), Eduardo Calvillo, Marielena Calvillo, and Juan Calvillo.

Visiting hours will be held on Monday, the 27th of January 2025 between the hours of two o'clock in the afternoon and nine o'clock at night, with the recitation of the holy rosary to begin at seven o'clock Monday evening within the West Chapel of Darling-Mouser Funeral Home. 

Visiting hours will resume on Tuesday, the 28th of January 2025 from eight o'clock in the morning with a chapel service to commence at ten o'clock. Interment will then follow, via an escorted procession, at Guillen Community Cemetery, 9055 Boca Chica Boulevard, Brownsville.
