Leonardo E. Trevino

Leonardo E. Trevino, 92, of Brownsville, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, August 29, 2010 at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Brownsville surrounded by his loving family.
Mr. Trevino was a World War II Army veteran. He was preceded in death by his wife, Augustina G. Trevino and a brother, Frank Trevino. He is survived by his sons, Leonard G. Maria G. Trevino of Brownsville and Daniel G. Blanca Trevino of Chicago eight grandchildren, Linda Trevino, Suzanne Halaska, Rosemary Ryback, Daniel Trevino, Leonard A. Trevino, Katherine Trevino Kniffin, Sarah Trevino Terronez and Norma Trevino Duffy thirteen greatgrandchildren one greatgreatgranddaughter and numerous other relatives.
Visitation will begin Tuesday, August 31, 2010 at 10 a.m., and continue until 9 p.m., with the recitation of the holy rosary to be held at 7 p.m., in the East Chapel of DarlingMouser. Mass of Resurrection will be held at 3 p.m., Wednesday, September 1, at Immaculate Conception Cathedral with burial to follow at Buena Vista Burial Park. Military honors will be conducted at the gravesite by the Veterans of Foreign Wars under the direction of Luis Lucio.
