BROWNSVILLE, TX. – Lidia G. Palomino entered into eternal rest on Saturday, the 3rd of October 2020 in Brownsville, Texas at the age of seventy-two.
Lidia was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, and friend and will always be remembered for the kindness she expressed to others. She will be greatly missed by all of those fortunate enough to have known her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ramiro and Maria Guajardo; and by her brothers, Hector Gonzalez and Ramiro Gonzalez, Jr.
Left behind to cherish her memory is her loving and devoted husband, Salvador Palomino; their children Salvador Palomino, Jr., Gabriel Palomino (Monica Garcia), and Lidia A. Palomino-Gomez (Hector Gomez); grandchildren Isaac, Natalia, Loren, Alek, and Sefina Palomino, and Hector Gael, Ximena, and Valeria Gomez; and siblings Jose Juan Gonzalez, Maria de los Angeles Gonzalez, Alberto Gonzalez (Claudia), and Martha Catalina Gonzalez. She is also survived by extended family members and friends.
Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, the 7th of October 2020 between the hours of twelve o’clock in the afternoon and seven o'clock at night, with a recitation of the holy rosary to be held at seven o'clock Wednesday evening within the East Chapel of Darling-Mouser Funeral Home.
The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at ten o’clock in the morning on Thursday, the 8th of October 2020 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 1200 Lincoln Street, Brownsville, Texas 78521. All local services will conclude at the church and in accordance with her wishes, cremation will follow.
Kindly note, due to COVID social distancing protocols currently in place, seating is limited within the funeral home and within the church. Current guidelines and regulations will be adhered to and strictly mandated in addition to the requirement of a face mask that must be worn at all times within the funeral home.
