Mabel I. Hall

Mabel Irene Hall, 101, passed away peacefully at her home in Brownsville, TX on September 17, 2009. She is survived by her husband Larry Hall, sister Izola Colbert, granddaughter Joy Lorraine Penick Waller Michael Waller, great grandson Austin Landis Laurence and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mabel was born April 26, 1908 in Napahia, Idaho and came to settle in San Benito, TX with her parents and 11 sisters and brothers. She married Maynard Spud Penick deceased and moved to Brownsville. Mabel was retired from Southwestern Bell Telephone Company after 45 years of dedicated service. She is preceded in death by her son Bobby Dick Penick and granddaughter Karel Anne Penick Laurence.

We would like to extend our sincere thanks to all of Mabels caregivers for their compassion and thoughtfulness in her last few months.

Graveside service will be held at Buena Vista Cemetery on Tuesday September 22, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. The Family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to your favorite charity.
