Manuel Luna, 75, of Houston, Texas, entered into eternal life on Tuesday, May 3, 2011 in Houston surrounded by his loving family.
Mr. Luna had resided in the Houston area for the past sixteen years. Previously residing in Brownsville, where he worked at the C L Coffee Shop. He was friend to many. He was very loving towards his nephews and nieces. He will be missed dearly.
Mr. Luna was preceded in death by his parents, Agapito Luna Garza and Maria Martinez Luna. He is survived by his sister, Olga Gonzalez of Houston his brother, Raul Garza of Colorado and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 6, 2011 from 3 p.m., to 9 p.m., with the recitation of the holy rosary to be held at 7 p.m., in the East Chapel of DarlingMouser. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, May 7, at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Buena Vista Burial Park.
Honored to be serving as Mr. Lunas pallbearers are Juan Jose Gonzalez III, Jaime Gonzalez, Jesus Francisco Gonzalez, Raul Garza, Bobby Singleton, and Filiberto Garcia.
