BROWNSVILLE, TX. – Marcelo Caro, Jr. entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, the 26th of January 2022 at Valley Regional Medical Center in Brownsville, Texas. He was twenty-eight years of age.
Marcelo, lifelong resident of Brownsville, Texas, was a loving father, son, brother, grandson, and friend to many. He enjoyed racing and car collections an one of his favorite foods, pizza. His other favorite pastimes included playing video games on the computer and traveling, often driving with his mother to visit his grandmother in Nebraska. Marcelo always said that he wanted to grow up and be like his father. He will be missed by all of those fortunate enough to have known him.
Preceding Marcelo in death was his uncle, Humberto Rangel; maternal great-grandmother, Carmen Gallegos; paternal grandmother, Margarita Sanchez; and his childhood best friend, Juvy Torres.
Survivors include his son, Matthew Caro; parents, father, Marcelo Caro, Sr. (Tomasa) and mother, Sandra Patricia Garcia; sisters Kayla Marie Caro, Bianca C. Anderson, Pamela Caro, Sandra C. Molina, and Tonie C. Saldivar; maternal grandmother, Gloria Rodriguez; maternal grandfather, Federico Rangel; his girlfriend, Kayla Alvarado; in additional to numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family members and friends.
A private cremation will occur.
