Marco Antonio Funes, Sr., 69, of Brownsville, entered into eternal rest at his residence on Friday, May 5, 2017 surrounded by his loving family.
Mr. Funes was the owner of Silverado Truck Sales in La Paloma, Texas.
Left to eternally treasure their memories of him are his loving and devoted wife, Teresa G. Funes; his children, Marco Antonio (Laura Elena) Funes, Jr; Gabriel (Patricia) Funes and Briseya (Jorge Garza) Funes; 9 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; his siblings, Lázaro Funes, Margarito Funes and Verónica Funes.
Visitation will be held in the East Chapel at Darling-Mouser Funeral Home, 945 Palm Blvd., Brownsville, Texas on Saturday, May 6 and Sunday, May 7, 2017 from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. both days.
He will be transferred to Estación Ramirez, Tamaulipas where he will have a visitation on Monday and eventually be buried in the Panteón Municipal in Estación Ramirez, Tamaulipas; Mexico.
