Margarita V. Avila

Margarita V. Avila, 85 went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, April 28, 2010. Margarita was a strong, christian woman who walked by faith and not by sight. 2 Cor. 5:7. A woman of great integrity who would always show her unconditional love and respect, who impacted the life of many with her prayers, advice, laughter and homemade cooking.
She was preceded by her loving husband, Enrique Avila Sr. her loving son, Enrique Avila Jr. her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Juan Vasquez her siblings, Juan Vasquez Jr., Felicitas Martinez and Consuelo Chavez. She is survived by her daughters, Lupita A.Daniel Rodriguez, Margaret Avila De la Cruz, Carmen Avila and her precious granddaughter, Ruby Monique Avila De la Cruz and her beloved sisters.
Visitation will begin Friday, April 30, 2010 at 9 a.m., and continue until 9 p.m., with a prayer service to begin at 7 p.m., in the East Chapel of DarlingMouser Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 8:30 a.m., Saturday, May 1, at the Christian Discipleship Outreach Church, 351 Los Ebanos, Brownsville, Texas 78520. Interment will follow to Buena Vista Burial Park.
