Margarita Cruz, went to be with our heavenly Father on December 31, 2009. She had been living in Pasadena, Texas since 2002.brbrMargarita was born in Monterrey, Mexico on February 22, 1922. She married Cesar CruzWho preceded her in death in 1946 and they moved to Asbury Park, New Jersey where he was stationed while serving in the U.S. Navy. They eventually settled in Brownsville and reared their family. Margarita dedicated herself as a devoted housewife and mother. She was a gifted artist, and exceptional seamstress, and enjoyed arts and crafts.br brMargarita is survived by her children, Nereida Hess and companion Victor Morris of Sealy, Texas; Lu
ina Rigas and husband Georgios of Pasadena, Texas; Rylma Price and husband Michael of Los Fresnos, Texas; and Oscar Cruz and wife Darlene of Brownsville, Texas; grandchildren, Jessica Hess Dunk and husband Paul of Katy, Texas; Eric Hess of South Padre Island; Alexandros Rigas and wife Melissa of Clear Lake; Homer Rigas of Pasadena; Aisa Cruz of Austin; Joshua, David and Ruthanne Price of Los Fresnos; great-grandchildren, Tanner and Rebecca Dunk of Katy; Cassandra Rigas of Clear Lake. She is also survived by her sister, Aurelia Veliz of Monterrey, Mexico; brother, Enrique Veliz of Cd.
