Margarita Reyes

Margarita Reyes, 88, beloved sister, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, and aunt entered into the glory of her eternal life on Saturday, may 3, 2008 at Valley Baptist Medical Center-Brownsville with her family at her side.

A native of Cruillas, Tamps., Mexico, Margarita, had been a resident of Brownsville for many years.

She was preceded in death by her parents and by her daughter, Lucila Cantu.

Left behind to eternally treasure her memory is her son Raquel Oslando and his wife Ramona Reyes; her daughter, Elizabeth and her husband Librado Zavala; 12 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; her brother, Claudio Reyes; and other extended family members.

Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. on Monday, May 5, 2008 and continue through 9 p.m. with the recitation of the holy rosary at 7 p.m. this evening in the East Chapel of Darling-Mouser Funeral Home. The Mass of Christian Resurrection is tentatively scheduled for Tuesday, May 6, 2008 at Immaculate Conception Cathedral with the time pending. Interment will follow at Buena Vista Burial Park.
