BROWNSVILLE, TX. – The final sunset came for Margene Overholser Frazier on Saturday, the 15th of May 2021 while in the comfort of her residence. Her sunrise was on July 9th, 1945.
Margene will best be remembered for teaching Physically impaired students for 25 years at Brownsville Independent School District. She also sang alto in the Presbyterian Church choir since she was 15 years old. She loved to swim and loved her cats. She was an active member of the First Presbyterian Church and served as an Elder and the Worship Chairman for many years.
She was preceded in death by her daddy, Gene Overholser and her mama, Margie Overholser. She is survived by two sons, Jeffrey Frazier of Dallas and Tony Frazier of Arlington, five grandchildren Lance, Hannah, Miranda, Lyli, and Charlie Eugene; and a great-grandson, Joshua Wayne Frazier.
