Maria Dolores Gonzalez Ruiz

Maria Dolores Gonzalez Ruiz, 91, of Brownsville, Texas passed away at Valley Baptist Medical Center on Saturday, Dec. 09, 2017, with her loving family at her side.

Maria Dolores is preceded in death by her husband, Roberto Ruiz Barragan.

Left to cherish her memory are her children: Lety (Barry) Phelps, Roberto J. (Lari Lynn) Ruiz, Sandra (Louis) Ontiveros, Adriana (Steven) Lyle, and Miriam (Bill) Ballard. Maria Dolores will also be missed by her 11 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, friends, and numerous extended family members.

In accordance with Maria Dolores' wishes, she will be cremated. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, Dec. 12th from 6 to 8 p.m. in the West Chapel at Darling-Mouser Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts in her name, may be made to St. Luke's Catholic Church, 2800 Rockwell Drive, Brownsville, Texas 78521.
