Maria G. Granado, 81, of Brownsville, entered into eternal rest on October 15, 2008 at Valley Baptist Medical Center surrounded by her loving family.
Mrs. Granado worked with Booth Fisheries, Waytts Cafeteria, Tri Winds and as a migrant worker. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jesus R. Granado, her parents, Pedro and Magdalena Gracia. Left behind to eternally treasure her memory are her children, Feliciano Porfiria Sal
ar of Brownsville, Libby Ralph Bernard of Marysville, Washington, Jesus Petra Granado, Jr. of Arlington, Washington, Pete Amparo Granado, Lena Joe Hernandez both of Brownsville, and Fred Nicia Granado of Carrollton, TX, 18 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, numerous siblings and other relatives.
Visitation will begin today, Friday, October 17, 2008 at 2p.m., with the recitation of the holy rosary to be held at 7p.m., in the East Chapel of Darling-Mouser. Mass of Resurrection will be held at 1p.m., Saturday, October 18, at Christ the King Catholic Church with burial to follow to Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens.
