Maria Margarita Villarreal

Maria Margarita Villarreal, 67, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt entered into the glory of her eternal life on Friday, February 8, 2008 at Valley Regional Medical Center in Brownsville surrounded by her loving family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Celedonio and Josefa Esquivel; her sister, Antonia Daniloff; and 3 brothers, Celedonio Jr., Jose Ignacio, and Jose de los Santos Reyes Esquivel.

Left behind to eternally treasure her memory is her beloved husband, Arturo Villarreal; her 2 sons, Jose Arturo and his wife Miriam and Tomas and his wife Diana Villarreal; her grandchildren, T.J., Christian, Leslie, and Jose Arturo III Villarreal and Carlos Hernandez; her sister, Ernestina Aigret from Florida, and her brothers, Victor and Enrique Esquivel, from Brownsville, Antonio Esquivel from Harlingen, and Celestino Esquivel from California.

Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. today Sunday, February 10th and continue through 9 p.m. with the recitation of the holy rosary at 7 p.m. this evening in the East Chapel of Darling-Mouser. The Mass of Christian Resurrection is tentatively scheduled for 3 p.m. on Monday, February 11th at St. Josephs Catholic Church, 555 W. St. Francis St. Interment will follow at Buena Vista Burial Park. Joe Esquivel, Norman Esquivel, Eric Esquivel, Carlos Hernandez, Eddie Esquivel, Victor Esquivel, Enrique Esquivel, and Antonio Esquivel are honored to be serving as Marias pallbearers. T. J. Villarreal will serve as an honorary pallbearer.
