Maria "Nena" Elena Ramirez

Maria Elena Ramirez, 90, beloved sister and aunt, entered into the glory of her eternal life on Friday, November 13, 2009 at her residence.

Nena was a native and lifetime resident of Brownsville. She worked for and had retired from the Federal Court System.

Nena was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters: Maria Luisa Delgado, Adelaida Lala Ramirez, and Gloria Nouel, and two brothers, Roberto Ramirez and Florentino Ramirez Jr.

She is survived by her oldest sister, Rosario Rosie Ramirez and numerous nieces and nephew and their families.

Visitation will be today, Monday, November 16, 2009 from 2 to 5 p.m. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, November 17, 2009 at Buena Vista Burial Park.
