Maria Virginia Garza, 60, of Brownsville, our beloved wife, mother, daughter, cousin, and friend entered into eternal rest on Friday, September 19, 2009 at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Brownsville.
Virginia, a lifetime resident of Brownsville, was a faithful and loving wife and an amazing mother. She lived for her family and gave them her all. She was her childrens biggest supporter and 1 fan. Family meant everything to her and the memories they have of their time together will help them to carry on without her. Mom, we know that we were your angels, and You were ours. We will love you and miss you forever.
Viriginia worked as a para-professional with the B.I. S. D. for six years at Stell Middle School. She enjoyed gardening and traveling. She was a woman of great faith and strength which helped her to overcome many obstacles. She was a parishioner of Holy Family Catholic Church.
Virginia was preceded in death by her father, Guadalupe Moreno; and an infant son, Johnny Garza.
Left behind to eternally treasure her memory is her husband of 36 years, Evaristo O. Garza; her daughter, Virginia Vicky Garza; one son: Evaristo M. Garza, Jr., her mother, Maria Aurora Morales; and numerous cousins and friends.
