Marie Helen Nosky

SPANAWAY, WA. – Marie Helen (Tepke) Nosky died peacefully in her home in Spanaway, Washington on Tuesday, the 29th of June 2021. She was ninety-seven years of age.

Marie was born in Brooklyn, New York. She and her husband, Joseph B. Nosky brought their family to Brownsville after they retired from the United States Air Force. Marie for many years worked at St. Mary's Catholic School.

Besides being a much-loved mother, mother-in-law, and wife, she is also the much-loved grandmother of nine and great-grandmother of twelve.

She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph B. Nosky; her son, Joseph A. Nosky; and by her brother, Robert Tepke. She is survived by her daughters, Valerie Nosky-Webb (Jeff Webb) and Marie Hamilton (Michael Hamilton), and by her son, Gerald Nosky (Cindy Nosky).

Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, the 13th of July 2021 between the hours of six o’clock in the evening and eight o'clock at night, with a recitation of the holy rosary to be held at seven o'clock Tuesday evening within the East Chapel of Darling-Mouser Funeral Home.

The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at nine o’clock in the morning on Wednesday, the 14th of July 2021 at St. Mary, Mother of the Church, 1914 Barnard Road, Brownsville, Texas 78520. Interment will follow at Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens, 4464 Old Port Isabel Road, Brownsville, Texas 78526.
