Mary Louise Lucio entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, January 13, 2010. She was a longtime resident of Brownsville where she worked with the Cameron County Public Health Unit, before moving to San Antonio, TX. The Mary P. Lucio Health Clinic located on Iowa Road, is named after her in honor of her devoted service to the residents of Brownsville and Cameron County.

Mrs. Lucio was preceded in death by her husband, Jesus Lucio, Sr.

She is survived by her son, Jesus Lucio, Jr. a daughter, Elizabeth 2 grandsons 3 sisters: Electra, Lucy, and Anna Marie and numerous nieces and nephews.

The Mass of Christian Resurrection will be at 10 a.m. on Saturday, January 23, 2010 at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church, 1055 U. S. Military Hwy. 281. Visitation will follow from 12 noon until 5 p.m. in the East Chapel at DarlingMouser Funeral Home. Interment will be at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio, TX.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Mrs. Lucios name may be made to the donors favorite charity.
