Michael David Armstrong, 67, of Brownsville, our beloved father, brother, grandfather, uncle, and friend entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, June 05, 2012, at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Harlingen after a valiant battle against cancer.
Michael was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed by all those fortunate to have known him and who were a part of his life.
Michael was preceded in death by his parents, John and Margaret Armstrong and a daughter, Sue Lynn.
Left behind to eternally treasure their memories of him are his children: Michelle Armstrong, Cecil Hambrick, Katrina LeForce, and Kristopher Ginger Armstrong five grandchildren a brother, Charles M. Heidimarie Armstrong and numerous nieces, nephews, other extended family members and a host of friends.
Visitation will begin at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, June 7, 2012, with a Celebration of Life service at 6:00 p.m. in the East Chapel at DarlingMouser Funeral Home. All services will conclude after the service and in accordance with Michaels wishes, cremation will follow.
The Armstrong family would like to extend their appreciation and heartfelt gratitude to Valley Cancer Associates for the compassionate care they provided to him and the family. May God continue to bless you as you minister to others.
