Michael Patrick Tarrant

Michael Patrick Tarrant, 52, of Weslaco and Brownsville was called to the Lord on February 7, 2010. He was born in Terre Haute, IN.

Mike was preceded in death by his father Joseph Tarrant and is survived by his mother Mary Rose Tarrant his brothers, William and his wife Beth, of Harleysville, PA and Richard and his wife Mary and by his sister Susan of Brownsville.

Mike was a dedicated computer accounting instructor at South Texas Vo Tech, first at the Brownsville campus, moving on to the Weslaco campus and finally at the McAllen campus. He was also active in the Weslaco Jaycees serving a term as President.

A memorial mass will be celebrated at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, February 20, 2010 at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church, 1055 Military Highway in Brownsville.
