Mrs. Mildred Tater Pineda, 88, of Brownsville, entered into eternal rest at her residence on Thursday, January 14, 2016 surrounded by her loving family.
Mrs. Pineda took great pleasure in taking care of her grandkids and loved her dogs dearly.
She was preceded in death by her parents; by her husband Gilberto G. Pineda and by a granddaughter, Michelle Lee Pineda Lopez.
Left to eternally treasure their memories of her are her children: Armando Loy ( Lelia) Pineda, Sylvia Vela, Gilbert Louis ( Diane) Pineda, Henry (Violet) Pineda and Nancy (Jesse) Saldaña;15 grandchildren; 19 great- grandchildren; an uncle, Henry Gonzales and by numerous cousins from Colorado.
Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m to 8:00 p.m. with the recitation of the holy rosary at 7 p.m. Sunday, January 17, 2016 in the East Chapel at Darling-Mouser Funeral Home.
Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday, January 18, 2016 in the Immaculate Conception Cathedral, 1218 E. Jefferson St. with interment to follow at Buena Vista Burial Park.
Honored to be serving as her pallbearers are Ruben Fernandez, Joe Fernandez, Rey Pineda, Johnny I. Pineda, Jesse Saldaña and Joey Pineda.
