Minnie Panigot Anderson, 96, beloved sister, aunt, and great-aunt entered into the glory of her eternal life on Saturday, November 22, 2008 at Spanish Meadows Nursing Home.
A native of Missouri, Mrs. Anderson and her late husband Arnold were Winter Texans before finally settling here 25 years ago. She was a devoted member of the Ladies Hospital Auxiliary at Valley Regional Medical Center where she earned many awards and was recognized for her many hours of work to the hospital and the patients.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Arnold R. Anderson; her parents, August and Margaret Panigot; two sisters: Louise Panigot and Lena Miller; her nephew, John Sites; and a great-nephew, Michael Edwards.
Left behind to eternally treasure her memory is her sister: Mildred and her husband Glen Sites; her nieces: Mary Edwards and Ruth and her husband Paul Durham; her great-niece, Maria Durham; her two great-nephews: David Edwards and Andrew Durham; her very dear friend and caregiver, Amalia Palmer, and a host of many dear friends.
Visitation will begin at 1 p.m., Monday, November 24, 2008 and continue through 7 p.m. The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, November 25, 2008 at Darling-Mouser Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens.
