Miss Manuela Trevino, 88, our beloved sister, aunt, greataunt and friend entered into the glory of her eternal life on Thursday, January 17, 2013, at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Brownsville surrounded by her loving family.
Manuela was preceded in death by her parents, Matias and Carmen Trevio two sisters, Berta Trevio and Maria Garza two brothers: Juan de Dios and Francisco Trevio a brotherinlaw, Antonio Trevio three nieces, Berta Rincon Trevio, Arcelia Rincon Trevio, and Juanita Trevio and a nephew, Francisco Trevio Jr.
Left behind to eternally treasure their memories of her are her two sisters: Elvira Trevio and Celia Trevio and a brotherinlaw, Jesus M. Garza. Manuela will also be missed by the nieces and nephews that were like her own children: Margarita Margenau, Lourdes James Mardis, Estela Noe Charles Trevio, Carmen Tony Ortiz, Annie Dan Almaraz, Berta Celia, Josie, and Enedelia Garza, Manuela Longoria, Antonio Lydia Trevio Jr., Jesus, Ruben Cuca, Ernesto, Francisco, and Oscar Garza, Johnny Ernestina, Jose Angel Beatriz, Roberto Benita, and Miguel and his wife Trevio and the greatnieces and nephews that were close to her: James, Robert, Lisa, Desi, K.D., Tawnia, C.J., Karen Elaine, Tony III, John, Claudia, and Jerry along with numerous other extended family members.
Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. today, Saturday, January 19, 2013, and continue through 7:00 p.m. Visitation will resume at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 20, 2013, and continue through 9:00 p.m. with the recitation of the holy rosary at 7:00 p.m. Sunday evening in the East Chapel at DarlingMouser Funeral Home. The Funeral Mass is tentatively scheduled for 10:00 a.m. on Monday, January 21, 2013, at St. Lukes Catholic Church, 2800 Rockwell Drive, Brownsville, Texas. Committal services will follow at Buena Vista Burial Park.
Manuelas nephews: Jesus Garza, Ruben Garza, James Mardis, Robert Mardis, Desi Ortiz, Gerardo Trevio, and Jose Angel Trevio are honored to be serving as pallbearers for their beloved Tia. The rest of Manuelas nieces, nephews, and greatnieces and nephews are honored to serve as honorary pallbearers.
