Molly Melinda Plitt, 71, entered into eternal rest on Monday, January 5, 2015, at Alta Vista Rehab in Brownsville, Texas.
Molly was a graduate of NTSU. She was an active member of our community having served on various boards along with her involvement with the Brownsville Junior Service League, the Gladys Porter Zoo, Leadership Texas, Palo Alto National Park Committee, and Sombrero Festival where she served as president and secretary.
Molly was preceded in death by her parents, Bobbie and William Mosher and a sister, Mary Mosher Bradley.
Molly is survived by her husband of 25 years, Walter E. Plitt III; a daughter, Sharon Roberts; two step-children, Sharon Everett and Walter E. �½Skipper�½ Plitt IV; 8 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren; two nieces, Susan (Jeff) Shea and Melissa (Brent) Shuler and their children; and numerous lifelong friends.
Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Thursday, Jan. 8th at Darling-Mouser Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 10:00 am, on Friday, Jan. 9th, 2015, at Good Shepherd Community Church, 300 S. Morrison Rd., in Brownsville. In accordance with Molly�½s wishes, she will be cremated.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts in Molly�½s name may be made to Good Shepherd Community Church, 300 S. Morrison Rd., Brownsville, TX 78520 or to Sunshine Haven Hospice Facility, 7105 West Lakeside Blvd., Olmito, TX 78575.
