Myrtle Caroline Snodgrass, 91, beloved mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, and great-grandmother, entered into the glory of her eternal life on Thursday, July 16, 2009 at her residence in Brownsville surrounded by her loving family.
Myrtle was a loving mother and grandmother who took great pride in caring for her family. She enjoyed playing card games and traveling with her friends. Myrtles home was always welcoming to friends and family who would stop by for a cup of coffee and conversation. She will be dearly missed by all those whose heart she touched.
Myrtle was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel Snodgrass, her son, Michael Snodgrass, 2 brothers, and 2 sisters.
Left behind to eternally treasure her memory are her 4 sons: Robert Susan Snodgrass, Gerald Rosario Snodgrass, Samuel Sammy Ellen Snodgrass, and Donald Snodgrass; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, one of whom was born on Thursday, July 16th, and one great-great-grandchild.
The funeral service will be at 10 a.m., today, Monday, July 20, 2009 in the East Chapel at Darling-Mouser. Committal services will follow to Buena Vista Burial Park. Myrtles grandsons: Jack Snodgrass, Jason Snodgrass, Joey Snodgrass, Dalton Snodgrass, Rick Daniels, and Also Solis are honored to be serving as her pallbearers. Jeff Lewis will serve as an honorary pallbearer.
