BROWNSVILLE, TX. - Natividad Granado entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, the 26th of November 2024 at his Brownsville residence. He was 91 years of age. 

Natividad was born and raised on September 8, 1933 in Brownsville, Texas, to Juan Granado and Librada Rodriguez Granado. Natividad was a life long parishioner of Good Shepherd Catholic Church. He loved socializing with everyone, enjoyed making new friends and had the gift of gab.

Preceding Natividad in death are his parents, Juan Granado and Librada Rodriguez Granado; his wife of 51 years, Maria Luisa Granado; and his siblings Maria Cortinas, Jesus Granado, Ernesto Granado, Manuela Delgado, Guadalupe Granado, Jose Granado, and Juanita Gonzalez.

Natividad is survived by his children Nativiad D. Granado, Luis H. Granado (Debra), and Sergio Granado (Dora); his grandchildren Luis H. Granado II, Crystal Granado, and Savanna Granado; three great-grandchildren; his siblings Frances Larson, Ramona Rosenbaum, and Juan Granado; in addition to numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members and friends.

Visiting hours will be held on Monday, the 2nd of December 2024 between the hours of twelve noon and nine o'clock at night, with the recitation of the holy rosary to begin at seven o'clock Monday evening within the East Chapel of Darling-Mouser Funeral Home. 

The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at ten o'clock in the morning on Tuesday, the 3rd of December 2024 at Good Shepherd Catholic Church, 2645 Tulipan Street, Brownsville. Interment will then follow, via an escorted procession, at Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens, 4464 Old Port Isabel Road, Brownsville.

Honored to be serving as his pallbearers are Armando Rosenbaum, Cesar Mendoza, Encarnacion Delgado, Billy Maxwell, Natividad D. Granado, and Pete Granado.

The family wishes to express their gratitude to Dr. Jairo Rodriguez for the special care he provided to Natividad and to Pastor Vidal Garza of Templo Bethel Asambleas de Dios for his spiritual counseling.
